Batson House is a spacious and beautifully presented holiday home within a few steps of the pretty tidal creek at Batson, and just a 15 minute (mostly level) walk into Salcombe.
The three-storey Victorian house has been extensively renovated in recent years to provide a high standard of comfort for two-three families (or an extended family party), adult groups or those simply looking for a large holiday retreat in a mostly quiet and sought-after location on the edge of the town.
Overlooking the head of pretty Batson Creek, a mostly level walk of approximately 3/4 mile meanders via the banks of the tidal estuary into Island Street and onto Salcombe itself, with its beautiful sailing harbour, sandy beaches, narrow streets and stunning views.
A flight of stone steps lead up to the front garden and to the canopied main entrance at the front of the house
