    “The cottage was beautiful but funny noise’s in the middle of the night from the house, not sure if there is mice in the roof area!”

    I would recommend that the cleaning company that they use clean the cobwebs from the ceiling beams I would have done this myself but couldn’t reach and there wasn’t a long handle feather duster to use in the cottage. The rest of cottage was spotless.

The property

Cola’s Tonne is a gorgeous detached property in the small hamlet of Collaton, only a short drive from Salcombe.

With an upside down layout the ground floor is home to two en suite bedrooms, a double and a twin room.

Both have French doors which lead out to the front of the property, home to a small paved area with a table and chairs.

Up on the first floor is the beautiful open planning living area a large, grey modern fitted kitchen and table football.

There are traditional wooden beams and French doors leading out to the terrace, which has countryside views and a BBQ.

The living area has a high spec wood burning stove and comfy black leather sofas where you can relax after a day of exploring Devon.

The town of Salcombe not far with many spots having beautiful estuary views and many good spots to eat and drink.

Hope Cove, a tiny fishing village, is only 3 miles away, with its small beach and a pub and restaurant.

Cola’s Tonne is a great destination for keen walkers, with the south west coastal path right on your doorstep, or for beach lovers with the liked of Bigbury and Thurlestone in easy reach.

The attractive village of Malborough boasts a multitude of thatched cottages, a village shop, two excellent country pubs and a thriving post office. It is located just 2 miles from the popular sailing resort of Salcombe, the southernmost town in the South Hams. Boasting a beautiful, scenic coastline, Salcombe is ideal for enjoying sailing, watersports, coastal walking or for simply soaking up the sunshine. Observe the plentiful wildlife in the area, visit several country houses and gardens close by or visit the lovely market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, explore the wide open spaces and rocky tors of Dartmoor, just 15 miles away. A perfect holiday location, with much to see and do.
