The property

Fairhaven is a delightfully presented and extremely well equipped second floor apartment in an historic landmark building in the very heart of the town, just seconds away from the Royal Avenue Gardens, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and famous riverfront.

From a shared entrance at ground floor level, two flights of stairs lead up to the duplex apartment.

This in turn leads into a spacious hallway, off which are the reception areas, kitchen and main bathroom.

A light and bright living space has been tastefully modernised whilst retaining many original features, including beautiful antique pine flooring.

The area is stylishly furnished with two large sofas, feature fireplace (not in use), widescreen Smart TV, side and coffee tables.

Large, interconnecting double doors can be fully opened to the adjoining dining room which has a solid oak table seating six comfortably.

Modern and very well-equipped kitchen with sleek wall and floor units, four-ring gas hob, integrated electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and two breakfast stools. Three bedrooms, on the upper floor and each with a glimpse of the River Dart!

An elegant staircase leads up to a double bedroom at second floor level with King size bed, bedside chairs, fitted wardrobes with shelving, dressing table and chair, original feature fireplace (not in use), and large window overlooking the town.

The second bedroom has two single beds (that can be linked on request to create a super-King size double), wooden bedside units, chest of drawers, chair and DAB radio.

The third single bedroom can also double up as a lovely ‘snug’ with church views and bi-folding doors to a superb roof terrace.

The room is furnished with a single bed, chest of drawers and Smart TV.

On the lower level is a luxurious, contemporary bathroom with tiled bath, large separate walk-in shower (with rainhead and hand-held showers), w.c., wash-hand basin, towel rail and illuminated mirror.

On the upper floor is a shower room with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin and w.c. An annual parking pass is provided for the long stay car park, just 3-5 minutes walk (Mayors Avenue) subject to availability/space.

Additional/alternative parking at Dartmouth ‘Park & Ride’ approx. 5-7 minutes’ drive away. The beautifully furnished and decorated two-storey accommodation has been designed with comfort and convenience in mind and is ideally located for couples or a family looking for central base in Dartmouth.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. There are two flights of steps leading up to the duplex apartment.

NOTE - No parking at the property - parking permit supplied (car park is approximately 3-5 minute walk from the apartment). Please note that the Mayors Avenue car park is closed for the Regatta Week.

All bed linen and bath/hand towels are supplied. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
