Sunnyhaven is a delightful second floor apartment situated in the picturesque seaside town of Dartmouth, Devon, 50m from the beautiful River Dart and an easy, flat walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and Arts Centre.

Perfect for couples, families and friends, this charming retreat offers convenient permit parking for one car and promises a memorable coastal escape with its inviting atmosphere and stunning maritime surroundings.

There are two flights of stairs up to Sunnyhaven’s front door - the second one is slightly steeper but both are wide with good hand rails.

The flat benefits from a handy ground floor storage room perfect for pushchairs, buckets and spades, bicycles (no electric or muddy bikes please) fishing tackle, walking and sailing equipment.

Upon entering Sunnyhaven the newly refurbished bathroom is to your left, the two bedrooms are to the right both of these are south facing, bright and welcoming.

The main living room at the end of the corridor is a comfortable open plan area. The kitchen is well equipped to make it easy for you to prepare your favourite meals.

The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and the table comfortably seats four people.

Outside, although there is no garden, the delights of Dartmouth are right on your doorstep, ready to be explored.

Embark on a historical exploration with a visit to the impressive Dartmouth Castle, with commanding views over the entrance of the bustling Dartmouth Harbour, or take a delightful ferry trip across the river to Kingswear Castle.

An amble through the enchanting Royal Avenue Gardens, embracing a variety of beautiful flowers, is an absolute must.

Further afield, Walk or take the ferry, (when in season) to visit Dartmouth Castle and Dartmouth Castle Tea Rooms.

For beach lovers and sea swimmers have a dip at Castle Cove and or Sugary Cove.

The costal path continues west from here. Take the lower ferry as a foot passenger or the passenger ferry to Kingswear giving access to the coast path to the east.

The steam train to Paignton and bus routes to the English Riviera. There are regular ferries to Dittisham where you can visit Greenway the Ferryboat Inn, the Anchorstone Café and the Red Lion. The ancient Totnes Castle sits majestically atop the town while the South Devon Railway meanders from Totnes Riverside Station and gifts you idyllic scenes of the Dart Valley, truly a delightful journey.

Spend time enveloped in calmness at the Leechwell Garden or breathe fresh air at the Berry Head National Nature Reserve, perfect for watching the sunsets.

And lastly, soak in the sun and dip a toe in the refreshing waters at the secluded Fishcombe Cove, a slice of paradise.
