Once we arrive we don’t use the car again so some of the facilities are a little way away. But it is so quiet and comfortable and there’s everything you need. I really didn’t want to leave.

Galmpton is a lovely village between Paignton and Brixham, in a beautiful area known as Greenway, where there are well-maintained footpaths with stunning views of the River Dart, and opportunities for ferry rides along the river towards Dartmouth. The village hosts the friendly pub of The Manor Inn, where guests can savour wholesome and traditional dishes accompanied by wine or a pint.
