“The apartment was perfect for our family.”

Plenty of room for us and the kids. We also made good use of the outside space on the sunny days. Couldn't fault anything. The beds were comfortable and everything worked in the kitchen. There were games under the TV which we had great fun with. Everything was provided so we didn't need to go shopping for extra bits. Would stay there again in the future.

“We arrived on day one and had no hot water and then intermittent hot water for the next couple of days.”

I suspect this was due to the property being empty the week before we arrived so had been turned off. This was not ideal after a long day travelling with two young children. It was eventually sorted however after a call to coast and country. The property was comfortable and well equipped the site however is nice at the top end but if you venture towards the bottom of the village it is not the most pleasant with a building site for what used to be a pool area which is overgrown and and surrounded by heras fencing. The views from the property however are lovely. On the water heating we found the boost function but there is no information in the info for the apartment in relation to the water heating. It may be wise to drop that in there should the situation arise again. I would also recommend a time clock for the water heating as it’s not necessary with this type of hot water cylinder to have the heat on constant.

“Excellent flat, great mattress, great views & outdoor space, close enough to Dartmouth.”

The only feedback is pls can you put a full mirror in the flat (maybe like inside of the main bedroom cupboard) so that ladies especially can see what they look like once fully dressed & it’s easier to blow dry hair etc. Minor feedback but other than that amazing flat.

“We had an excellent stay at 2 The Manor House.”

The apartment was modern, exceedingly well equipped and very clean. Loved the view, the location was very convenient for what we wanted to do, plenty of walks and beaches within easy reach. Missed a coffee machine, but the very nearby garden centre made where we got takeaway coffees and super flapjacks made up for that. A very happy stay. Thank you.

2 The Manor House is a stunning apartment set within a beautiful country house at Hillfield Village, providing luxury ground floor accommodation for up to four guests.

The property boasts beautiful French windows leading out to the South-facing furnished terrace from the sitting area – the perfect spot for al fresco lunch, with views of the surrounding countryside. The apartment has a very well equipped and stylish open plan living area.

The contemporary kitchen has a Neff ceramic hob and fan assisted oven, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The dining space seats four comfortable, whilst the lounge features a Smart TV.

The apartment has two bedrooms – the master double has a King-size bed and terrace access.

The second twin bedroom has two single beds.

In between the two bedrooms is a family bathroom with bath and shower (over).

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes.
