Positioned at the head of Island Street, in a central location to enjoy Salcombe’s shops, restaurants and nearby sandy beaches, Home is semi-detached property with four good-sized bedrooms.

A series of sandstone steps lead up from Island Street to the front door, into a tiled hall. This property has a fully equipped kitchen with four-ring gas hob, electric oven fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, breakfast bar with stools.

Wander through the kitchen door, up the steps to the rear terrace boasting a stunning'Mediterranean' feel garden with sago palms, banana palms, tree ferns, grape vines, date palms and other exotic plants.

Garden furniture and large gas barbecue suggests balmy Summer dining alfresco.

The lounge has a large comfortable corner sofa, smart TV and DVD player, The archway takes you through to the dining room with plenty of table space and chairs for 8 people.

Also at this level is a study with oak desk and chair. Four inviting bedrooms, all on the first floor await you.

The Master bedroom has a King-size bed, fitted wardrobes, TV, and en suite wet room, shower, w.c.

Second bedroom offers a double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedrooms three and four are both twin rooms both with wardrobes and drawers.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

There are steps leading from the road to the property entrance and further steps from the kitchen to the rear terrace.

One dog permitted at a cost of £25 per week.
