    “As a seasoned salcombe renter, and Professional Surveyor , everything worked fine !”

    Was functional and adequate! Only comment would be glasses and cutlery could do with small upgrades , but that’s really minor !! Spent an enjoyable 2 weeks ! Ps And the Coast ! staff were great ! As managed to leave some jewellery there ! Which was thank fully found )))

The property

A stylish apartment at the lower end of Allenhayes Road, within easy reach of Courtenay Park and Salcombe town centre, with glimpses of the famous Salcombe waterfront.

This property is laid out over two levels and is set over a period town house.

A short flight of steps from the parking space lead down to the front door, and into the open plan kitchen, sitting and dining room.

One well behaved dog is allowed in the tiled living area.

The well equipped kitchen has fitted units, granite work surfaces, four ring electric halogen hob with electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and breakfast bar with two stools.

Small dining area is situated to the left of kitchen and seats up to four people.

The cosy, tastefully furnished lounge has two two-seater sofas, flat screen digital TV and DVD player.

A useful utility cupboard has a washer dryer.

Two lovely bedrooms to sleep four people, with a travel cot and highchair provided.

Master bedroom has a King-size bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and en suite w.c.

The charming twin bedroom with slanted ceiling has 2’6” single beds (suitable for guests over the age of five).

Enviable private parking space for one small/medium car, beside the property entrance, off Allenhayes Road. The property has gas fired central heating and hot water.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
