    “Amazing location.”

    Fantastic facilities. Excellently stocked kitchen with everything anyone could possibly need. Love the Orla Kiely touches also love the overall vibe of the place. Negatives… bathroom was not clean, short and long dark hairs all over the floor … yuck TV in the sitting room turned itself off with no apparent cause or reason admittedly this only happened once but you may want to check it out for other guests Overall tried to book the apartment again for next year but sadly it was ...

We are quite appalled to hear this - and surprised because previously our cleaner has received excellent ratings from guests. We will follow this matter up urgently with Coast & Country (who are responsible for organising the cleaning). In your feedback you highlighted “Fantastic facilities” but we see you gave a low rating for our facilities. We are keen to know what changes we could provide to improve things for future guests. We are sorry our apartment was already booked for the week you wanted next summer but hope you enjoy your stay at our neighbours in 2025. Property Owner

The apartment itself has extensive rural views as it is on the landward side of the building.

When you can just about tear yourself away from this arresting abode, you can stroll a mere 100m to the beach at South Milton Sands, also you can explore the area with a breath-taking hike along the magnificent South West Coast Path which passes the front of the property stopping off at sights such as South Milton Sands with it's iconic Thurlestone Rock.

Enjoy an afternoon of Golf at the beautiful Thurlestone Golf Club, or head to the neighbouring town of Salcombe to discover the soft yellow shores of Salcombe North Sands, the Salcombe Maritime Museum and the remains of Fort Charles.

A gentle stroll away, the exotic gardens of Overbeck's, now owned by the National Trust, are well-worth a visit, whilst the Gothic Architecture of Start Point Lighthouse sits just a pleasant drive away.

There's plenty of fun to be had at Dartmoor Zoo and Woodlands Family Theme Park, whilst the historical market town of Kingsbridge offers a splendid afternoon with artisan shops and eateries.

Salcombe 7 miles; Bigbury-on-Sea 9 miles

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.

Care and supervision of children around the pool area must be taken at all times.
