However, we did have initial problems as the duvets in the bedrooms are duck feathers, and one of us has an allergy to feathers. This, combined with the smaller duvet and a throw cover enabled us to sleep relatively comfortably.
During our stay we were a bit concerned with the cleanliness in one or two places. One bed cover had dirty marks on it and a toilet brush was badly soiled with excrement. We did our best to keep the apartment clean, but had been left virtually nothing in the way of cleaning fluids. It is also mentionable that the staircase up to the first floor had large amounts of sandy soil on it throughout our stay. We can forward photos if needed.
This all sounds as though we did not enjoy our stay, which is not the case. The apartment is beautifully situated and well equipped. We just think that you should be aware of these things.

We were unaware before your arrival that there was a party member allergic to feathers, this is something that is usually asked before your arrival. We replaced the duvet with a synthetic one as soon as you called after hours. We are also sad to read you had a few cleanliness issues. Please know that if you have let us know we would have rectified these bits immediately. We have carried out an inspection of the property and can report all has been remedied.
