“This was our 4th and last visit to Two Hoots.”

The property is large and especially upstairs, struggles to get to a comfortable temperature. This year the heating developed a fault and the upstairs radiators remained cold. We were waking freezing cold. A phone call to Sykes to report this was not returned. We decided to return home to our warm house. Very disappointed regarding the owners refusal to reimburse us for the two nights lots. Will always return to Thurlestone in December but will choose a property with sufficient heating.

We were sorry to hear that you left early because of the heating. It is very easy to control there are instructions in the folder also the number of the caretaker who has the heating app on his phone or could have talked you through it or even have come over if you had rang him as he lives locally. The heating is working fine just if you have the log burner on the lounge thermostat will think it’s hot enough so won’t click on the radiators you just need to set them to be a bit higher. All this could have been avoided and sorted out for you this is why we have a caretaker and why instances like this are very avoidable and why a refund was not given. Our daughter stayed in the house the weekend after you left and the heating was working fine. Property Owner
