“I was very disappointed with the house, its cleanliness i will attache photos of the bathroom especially (not sure they can be attached) mould, dirty, and very smelly.”

The ornamounts had not been dusted for some time as had the skiting boards. On arrival at 23.00 the heating had not been on and was locked the temperature was 9 degrees very cold. The state of the bathroom can be seen from the attached photo's disgusting and the smell seem to be a rat had died in the drain it was that bad. On the morning after we arrived we were advised that the washing machine did not work and go to the local laundrette, really!! it our Christmas holiday do i want to drag down ...

On the morning after we arrived we were advised that the washing machine did not work and go to the local laundrette, really!! it our Christmas holiday do i want to drag down to the laundrette, if this was imparted prior to our departure and must of been known, we would have packed differently but the timing was very poor in notifying us. When the dishwasher was used the capsule flap did not open so everything was washed by hand another problem. I would add that there was only one set of front door keys and we had to call into the office for another set, not well thought out and the front door lock was not easy to use it was sticking on several occasions. In general a big let down.

Thank you for your feedback. We can only apologise for the washing machine; we were under the impression that it would be fixed for your arrival, unfortunately the new part did not arrive in time. This is why you were not informed earlier. I am pleased a member of staff was able to assist you with the heating as it is not locked and the minimum temperature is 13 degrees. As you arrived out of hours, we were not aware you would like 2 sets of keys, these are always available if requested. We were surprised that you had any cleanliness complaints as we spoke with you about various matters and cleaning was never mentioned, had we known there was any issue we would have sent a cleaner to reattend immediately. We have checked with people staying both before and after your stay (and have checked ourselves from the office team) and there were no smells in the bathroom which they informed us was very clean. We encourage guests to contact us if any issues as we can almost always resolve easily and quickly - for example we could have advised you that the dishwasher works if you put a tablet anywhere inside the dishwasher We do hope you still managed to have a lovely holiday and enjoyed your festive break in Dartmouth.
